Last updated: March 2026. These terms apply to edmfeedback.com and all associated services.
Plain English summary: EDMFeedback is an AI-powered feedback tool for music producers. You upload your own music, we analyse it in your browser and send technical measurements (not your audio) to an AI, and you get feedback. Your audio files are never stored on our servers. You must own or have rights to any music you upload. We are not liable for the AI's feedback being wrong or incomplete.
By accessing or using EDMFeedback ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of EDMFeedback ("we", "us", "our"), an individual operator based in Norway. By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
EDMFeedback provides AI-powered audio analysis and feedback for electronic music producers. The Service:
Important: Your audio files are processed locally in your browser or on our analysis server and are immediately and permanently deleted after analysis. We never store, retain, or transmit your audio files to any third party. Only numerical technical measurements derived from your audio are sent to the AI provider.
To access certain features you must create an account. You agree to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, show signs of abuse, or engage in fraudulent activity.
By uploading audio to EDMFeedback, you represent and warrant that:
You must NOT upload audio that you do not own or have rights to, including but not limited to: commercially released tracks you purchased but did not create, samples you do not have a licence for, or other people's recordings without their permission.
Copyright notice: Uploading copyrighted material you do not own is a violation of these Terms and may constitute copyright infringement under applicable law. Because your audio is processed and immediately deleted — never stored — the risk of copyright harm from our Service is minimal, but we still prohibit such use. Repeated violations may result in account termination.
You agree not to use the Service to upload, analyse, or process:
You also agree not to:
EDMFeedback operates as a passive conduit for audio analysis. We do not:
Because audio files are immediately deleted after analysis and are never stored, transmitted, or made accessible to third parties, we believe our liability exposure for copyright infringement by users is extremely limited under both EU Directive 2019/790 on Copyright in the Digital Single Market and applicable international copyright frameworks.
Nevertheless, if you believe content uploaded through our Service violates your intellectual property rights, please contact us at [email protected] and we will investigate promptly.
Please read this carefully. EDMFeedback is an AI-assisted analysis tool designed to give you useful, data-driven feedback on your music. It is not a perfect system, and it is not a substitute for professional human expertise.
EDMFeedback is not a simple AI chat tool. Your track goes through a multi-stage analysis pipeline before any feedback is written:
This combination of signal-based measurement and AI interpretation means the feedback is grounded in real technical data — not generated from the track name or genre label alone. All automated analysis has inherent limitations. Results are best-effort estimates based on mathematical measurements of your audio file.
You acknowledge and agree that:
EDMFeedback works best as a starting point for your own critical thinking — a second opinion that highlights things worth considering, not a definitive verdict. Use it alongside your own ears, trusted peers, and professional feedback when you can get it. The goal is to help you ask better questions about your music, not to replace your creative judgment.
Paid plans are processed through Stripe (stripe.com), one of the world's most trusted payment processors. By subscribing you agree to Stripe's terms of service in addition to these Terms. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified — the highest level of payment security certification.
EU/EEA consumers: Under EU consumer protection law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from new subscriptions. This right is waived once you have used any credits in that period, as the digital service has been partially performed at your explicit request.
Your music: You retain full ownership of all audio you upload. We claim no rights over your music or any feedback generated about it.
Our Service: EDMFeedback, including its design, code, algorithms, prompts, and brand, is our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our Service without written permission.
Feedback text: The written feedback generated for your tracks is stored in your account and is yours to use. You may share it freely. We may use anonymised, non-identifiable feedback patterns to improve our service.
Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Service you consent to the data practices described there.
In summary: we collect your email address and analysis history. We do not store audio files. We comply with GDPR as implemented in Norwegian law.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.
EU/Norwegian consumers: The above limitations do not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Norwegian consumer protection law (forbrukerkjøpsloven) may give you additional rights.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EDMFeedback and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We reserve the right to:
Continued use of the Service after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. For users in the EU/EEA, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence.
